Gluten Free
Restaurants with huge menus work well, as there are so many alternatives and it's great to have an array of choices! Enjoy salads and grilled ahi, steak bites and skewers. Asian and Mexican foods are good choices in general -- and count your blessings that at least there's wine!

Bye & Bye

Restaurants are at least paying more attention now. Mama Mia's has a good gluten free pasta, and will make any dish with it when requested! (Dinner, not Happy Hour). Old Wives Tales has half a giant menu of gluten-free choices (no Happy Hour though). Thirst claims 90% of menu is or can be made gluten free. Deschutes has a gluten-free beer!

** If you have a serious gluten intolerance, please know that I am not the official authority, but just offering some suggestions. And please let me know any great finds!

Macadams (private and party rooms)
Old Wives Tales (no Happy Hour, but free group room available with meal purchases)
Spaghetti Factory (small groups, must buy lunch/dinner)

Best Pizza
Okay... I am from Chicago where they are known for their pizza, and have struggled to find much of a BEST list, but I want one!! I'm not taking responsibility except for what I've found and enjoyed as listed below. Email me with favorites and I'll see what gets mentioned most, and try it again. At HAPPY HOUR only, please.

Wood-fired and delicious:
Serratto

Wood-fired and pretty good:
Belly
Bar Due

No Happy Hour, but Apizza Scholls and Lovely Fifty-Fifty (Lovely Hula Hands owners) have the best I've found, in addition to the aforementioned. PDX Pipeline came up with a good list, and ended up with highlights being Ken’s Artisan, Escape From New York, Vicente’s and Flying Pie.
